Bristol- and Bath-based brothers merge brokerages to become market-beating team

After months of hard work behind the scenes, brothers Oliver and Elliot Cotterell — of Windsor Hill Mortgages and My Mortgage Maker respectively — today announced that they have finalised a company merger and become one unified, stronger team.

The newly merged company, with offices in Bristol, Bath and London, will operate under the Windsor Hill Mortgages brand — and follows the recent launch of commercial finance company, Cotterell & Cotterell Commercial Finance, which is also run by the two brothers and focuses on the commercial, development and specialist lender sector. 

As brothers, Oliver and Elliot have spent their lives collaborating on building projects with their family and, with both now operating in the mortgage industry, it felt like the right time to bring the knowledge, beliefs and client bases of their thriving businesses together as Windsor Hill Mortgages.

Windsor Hill Mortgages' vision is to become the go-to specialist finance broker in the whole of the UK, with the knowledge and teamwork to solve even the most complex of cases.

The company has more than tripled its headcount in the space of a year and partnered with numerous like-minded customer-centric businesses, along with multiple sponsorship deals.

The brothers are poised to announce a significant new partnership in the coming months that will further accelerate the growth of the business.
