Snap reaction to IMF report

This morning, the IMF published a report warning about the impact of rate rises by the Fed on emerging markets. With this in mind, should investors avoid emerging markets in the short-term or ride out any potential turbulence? Also, any general thoughts on this brief report, send them over. Deadline is 11am.

Investing in emerging markets has always tended to be a rollercoaster ride and that is unlikley to change. I would suggest that as long as the sector only makes up part of your overall portfolio, that you ride out the turbulence and remain invested for the long term.
