A journalist at Prima is working on a feature about why it feels good to look back and the benefits of nostalgia. She's after comment on why we've seen a resurgence of nostalgia during the pandemic and what engaging with nostalgia does for our wellbeing - for example, studies have shown nostalgic memories increase optimism and hope for better times ahead. It’s been lovely to look back at gigs with my band mates and my choir. Music is about making memories and bringing people together for me, and I’m looking forward to future gigs now knowing that we all have a deeper appreciation for live entertainment.
