"The start of 2022 has been nothing short of astounding. We've been approached by more first-time buyers in the first week of January than the whole of December. It's clearly New Year, New Home. Rates are still low, confidence is high and prices, for now at least, are still on the up. If I could have one wish it would be for more stock. Let's scrap stamp duty altogether, incentivise the older generation to downsize and keep this market turning."
